'import' is not recognized as an internal or external command

This error might come up when you are trying to deploy an OAF pages and using the import command to import page files.
This error is coming up because in your environment variables you have not setup the path variable.
Location of import utility: C:\<JDeveloper-Installed-location>\jdevbin\oaext\bin
You can either include this in you path variable or just execute this in CMD:
cd C:\<JDeveloper-Installed-location>\jdevbin\oaext\bin
and then execute your import command.

Note: Using first method you will never have to worry about this problem again, but if you use second method, you need to do it every time you are importing a page.

ORA-01791: not a SELECTed expression - Oracle Error

This Error message might show up when you are trying to use DISTINCT with ORDER BY clause. Let us try and understand when this error message comes and what is causing it. Take the following simple SQL for example:

  SELECT    DISTINCT a, b
    FROM      mytable
ORDER BY c

When we try to run the above SQL we will get the error message: "ORA-01791: not a SELECTed expression".
The reason for this is simple, once you have applied DISTINCT to the result set the only columns that are available are the ones written (calculated) in the SELECT query.
So if you try to run the below query then it will run without any issues:

   SELECT   DISTINCT a, b, c
    FROM      mytable
ORDER BY c

Remove bloatware from BlueStacks latest version

This guide will help you to stop Bluestacks from auto downloading Bloat Apps and will improve the overall experience in Bluestacks as if you were using your phone or Tablet.

Okay so let's start:
Step 2: Restart your PC
Step 3: Download APK for Nova Launcher, Google Play Store and ES Explorer (or any other File Manager).
Step 4: Download and Install BlueStacks from FileHippo.
Step 5: As soon as Bluestacks starts for the first time double click on Nova Launcher APK in Windows to install it on Bluestacks.
Step 6: Press Home Button and Select Nova Launcher as your default launcher.
Step 7: Force stop GamePop Home from 'Settings'(NOT 'Bluestacks Settings')> Apps> Running tab.
Step 8: Disable the following apps in 'Settings' (NOT 'Bluestacks Settings'): BS-Services, MyBluestacks, Notepad, Picasa Uploader and Search.
Step 9: Double click on Google Play Store and ES Explorer to install them.
Step 10: Close the Bluestacks completely (from Notification Panel as well). STart it up again. This time Nova Launcher should start by default.
Step 11: Click on the Google Play Store icon and sign in to your Google Account.
Step 12: Google Play Store and Google Services should automatically update itself in 5-10 minutes depending on your connection speed.

I do not recommend using any of the Bluestacks apps, not even there default Browser, so install Chrome and set it as default if possible. Also never try to open 'Bluestacks Settings' and 'GamePop Home'.

Install your game from Google Play Store and have fun.

Difference between dba_source and all_source

In short the difference between dba_source and all_source is:

ALL_SOURCE describes the text source (all the code) of the stored objectsaccessible to the current user. Whereas DBA_SOURCE is not limited for a particular user, it describes the text source of all stored objects in the database.

Wait that's not all there is!

Both dba_source and all_source have 5 columns: OWNER, NAME,TYPE, LINE and TEXT. Other then these two there is one more view called USER_SOURCE which describes the text source of the stored objects owned by the current user.

Just tell me how to use it!

Most common way to use these:
1
SELECT * FROM dba_source where TEXT like '%package.procedure/function_name%'
